Why Egypt donate books, magazines to college

The Arab Republic of Egypt, has donated some books and magazines to the Darulkitab College, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The reason was because they want to help boost education in the country.

A statement signed by the Press and Information Officer of the Embassy of Egypt in Nigeria, Mr. Ahmed Maher, stated.

"The educational materials would greatly assist students of the institution and others in their quest for productive research and intellectual development.
However, the donation comprises 55 Al-Azhar magazines issued by the Al-Azhar institution and 100 African perspective books donated by the State Information Service of Egypt.
Proprietor of the beneficiary school, Dr. Abdul Salman, in a courtesy visit to the Egyptian Embassy in Abuja,  said the books are credible, he also commended the Egyptian government for the donation and promised the books will be distributed accordingly.\\
